Helping you understand and comply with the law

The Disability Discrimination Act (DDA) stipulates that:

"It is unlawful to treat a disabled person less favourably because they are disabled."

This law, which applies to websites, has been in place since 1999. The final part of the law comes into effect in October 2004.
